The residential tower at 8899 Beverly made its debut in 2022 and immediately became a must-have property on West Hollywood's skyline. Matt Damon, Comcast CEO Brian Roberts, and real estate broker and reality TV star Mauricio Umansky have all claimed units at the swank building. Six months ago, a 6,400 square-foot penthouse went for $24 million, and now its even larger sibling is up for sale. Taking half of the top floor, Penthouse West encompasses 7,300 square feet, consisting of four bedrooms and seven baths. Hardwood floors, 14-foot ceilings, custom lighting, direct elevator access and a separate staff entrance are all part of the package. Perched at the top of the Olson Kundig-designed 10-story building, the penthouse offers a stunning view of Los Angeles with automated glass walls and a wraparound terrace. The listing is being offered by Mauricio Umansky, Michelle Montany, and Taaseen Qureshi of The Agency.

Some would argue that autumn is the best time of the year to get dressed for work. The humidity of summer has finally disappeared, the fall foliage makes the commute more picturesque, and it’s just chilly enough to warrant some chic layers—no coat required. We can pull out our favorite heels or boots without worrying about the sludge of snow or frigid temperatures to come.
This year, we’re looking towards the runways to inspire our fall work outfits. Michael Kors offered a masterclass in fall dressing, layering hoodies under blazers and tucking billowy button-up shirts into skirts and trousers. Ralph Lauren showed us how to incorporate fall textures and colors into our wardrobes with tailored suits and jackets in chocolate brown suede. And Prada gave us a lesson in the power of color with looks like a vibrant red blouse layered underneath a knitted vest.

I first learned the power of Tory Burch 14 years ago, when I brought a black clutch a chic friend had given me to a Christmas party—and the hostess said, “You can leave that here when you go home.”
She was kidding. (I think.) But I took note that when I want to upgrade an outfit, a Tory Burch accessory helps. Which is how I found myself staring at the mother-of-pearl face of the Tory Burch Gold Pavé Oval Watch. Two rings of pavé stones circled the watch face—which in horological terms is, apparently, called “the dial.” They matched the halo around my engagement ring, so I slipped on the chain-link bracelet.

Reverse dull, dehydrated skin with the Skinceuticals Best Sellers set. Featuring the C E Ferulic Acid treatment, hyaluronic acid, and anti-aging cream, the trio combats aging skin while reducing the appearance of dark marks over time.
SkinCeuticals rating: 4.6/5 stars A SkinCeuticals reviewer says: “There is no other vitamin C that comes remotely close to this product. This product is superior to them all. I firmly believe that not all skincare needs to be super expensive, but when it comes to ingredients like vitamin C, you get what you pay for. This profit has a hefty price tag, but if you want something that works, improves your skin’s look, and reduces hyperpigmentation, this is your guy. Stop spending money on trying so many products that don’t yield results and invest in one that will blow you away. This is the one.”

Announcing… Vogue World: Hollywood. That’s right, the fashion extravaganza we’ve come to know as Vogue World is heading to Los Angeles in October 2025.
The inaugural Vogue World event in 2022 conquered New York. The splashy showcase resulted in an open-air runway parade, with an army of top models paraded a cobblestone street (situated in Manhattan’s Meatpacking district). The show was complete with a live performance from Lil Nas X. Come 2023, the spectacle crossed the pond for London. The one-night event masterminded by Anna Wintour benefited performing arts organizations across the city including The National Theatre, the Royal Opera House, the Rambert dance company and The Royal Ballet. This year, Wintour took things to Paris, to the historic setting of the Place Vendôme to be exact. The event merged fashion and sport (ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympic games), with the theme of French fashion for every decade since 1924.

Hearst’s 175 Layoffs Spark Reactions From Writers Guild of America & More
Hearst Magazines mass layoffs are having a ripple effect. Yesterday, the publishing house cut 175 employees across its internal fashion and publishing teams, as well as titles including Cosmopolitan, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, Delish, Good Housekeeping, HGTV Magazine, Woman’s Day, and Bicycling, chalked up to budget cuts. Today, responses from affected employees—and those supporting them—have grown, and will likely continue into next week. The Writer’s Guild of America quickly released a statement in response, describing the massive cuts as “needless, irresponsible, and cruel,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In light of the somber news, numerous editors, hiring managers, and publicists also took to Instagram and LinkedIn to share supportive messages and open calls to connect with those impacted. The unfortunate moment collides with new goings-on at Hearst, including Cosmopolitan‘s hiring of EIC Willa Bennett and fashion editor Brandon Tan—plus the publisher’s partnership with artificial intelligence company OpenAI and products including AURA. It also marks the largest layoffs to hit media in 2024, which has seen staff reductions at WWD, Footwear News, The Los Angeles Times, Marie Claire, Time, Nylon, Bustle Digital Group, Goop, and more. We’re sending well wishes to all affected by the losses.

Support Those sneaker innovations include details and designs that make a shoe better at giving consistent support for long periods of time. You generally need a thoughtful midsole for the best support. For long-distance support, carbon fiber plates are the best right now.

Back in August, I wrote a glowing review of Blake Brown, Blake Lively's haircare brand that's currently available at Target. I gushed about how great it smells and how my thick, wavy hair is obsessed with the formulas. This is all still very true. In fact, I had just finished the last glob of the Blake Brown Wild Nectar Santal Fundamental Nourishing Mask in my shower when I received an email invite to come get a blowout alongside Lively on behalf of her brand.
Most beauty events are held to debut a new product or innovation, but Lively and the team at Blake Brown genuinely just wanted to hang out together before the holidays. Michelle Hong, hairstylist and founder of NYC The Team salon, used the brand's key products to wash, condition, and style my hair, and then I got to spend a few minutes with the actress and founder alongside a few other editor friends and TikTok tastemakers. We spoke candidly about her favorite baked goods (the pop-tarts from Interlude bakery in New York City, if you must know) and what product fans can expect next from the brand. Ahead, Lively was able to answer a few more questions exclusively for Bazaar.

It was nighttime in England when I reached Clare Waight Keller at home over Zoom. She looked like she was ready to start the day, not end it, with a kind smile and a warm yet professional aura, dressed in a perfectly oversized, deep navy sweater with the sleeves rolled up.
“Is it Uniqlo?” I asked. I wondered because Waight Keller officially became the Japanese brand’s creative director in September, after having a successful run of designing a much-hyped and often sold-out capsule collection of chic, elevated essentials called Uniqlo:C. “Yes,” she said, “but I bought this five or six years ago. I’ve been a Uniqlo customer for the last decade, even before I worked for them.” She added that she’s always believed that they offer “incredible quality for the value. Real talk, the name of the game in Black Friday shopping can be summed up in one classic expression: The early bird gets the worm. After all, you’re working with epic deals and competing against everyone else who’s interested in what you’ve got your eye on. (It’s a jungle out there, guys.) But, if you’re someone like me—someone who prefers to plan ahead and shop with a mission—I have news for you: Mejuri’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale has officially started. From now until November 24, you can get early access to the direct-to-consumer jewelry brand’s many offerings (and all for 20 percent off when you spend $150 or more) before the deals open up to the public beginning November 25.
Now, you might be wondering how you can start shopping the sale before everyone else. And to that question, I have the answer: Become a Mejuri+ member on the brand’s website or sale. It’s at no cost to you, but in return, you’ll get members-only perks (like early access to this sale), exclusive product access, a birthday gift, and more. Just in case you don’t sign up for a membership, you can still shop the sale from November 25 through December 2. That’s good news for, well, anyone, because the holiday season doesn’t stop until after Christmas!

For this fall’s edition of Esquire’s guide to lasting style and luxury, we’re celebrating the art of escape. Or at least, getting out of town. Because one of the best things about the city is leaving it. The Brits recognized this early on, decamping from smoke-choked London for the countryside and trading their business suits for hearty tweeds. Americans adopted the look as part of their off-duty uniform. Then we lost our way. Old standbys gave way to stretch polyester and logo mania, a vibe that was rushing toward an expiration date. But classics are, as the saying goes, classics for a reason. Proper shoes gain even more character—and become even more comfortable—once you’ve worn and loved them for a while. Same goes for a herringbone jacket, a woolly sweater, or a leather bag.
These are the pieces that justify the investment because they feel as good as they look—and only get better when you put them through their paces. The items that, now that we’re no longer bound by Edwardian social norms, look even better dashing across an avenue to catch a cab than they would tromping through a peat bog. No brown in town? Forget that. Pile it on and throw some tan and tweed—and maybe even a vintage hunting jacket—in the mix as well. Then get out of Dodge. Or don’t. Either way, it works.

When your vehicle has four wheels, your bag doesn’t need ’em. If you’re hitting the road and skipping the check-in counter, forget about 360 degree spinners and baggage-bin restrictions. Instead, reach for a crushable, throw-in-the-trunk-able weekender that gains character the more Saturdays and Sundays you spend away. You know the old photos of movie stars at the airport with a stylish carry-on over their shoulder? That can be you—minus the O’Hare crowds—as you stroll from car to woodsy cabin.
After all, this kind of trip is about leaning into the vibe. Maybe it’s romantic. Or rugged. Or rejuvenating. But it is not an obligation—unlike a business trip or wedding that calls for a wrinkle-free suit and an extra dose of social anxiety. Will your chambray shirt get a little rumpled in Berluti’s oversize tote? Will your linen trousers crease in a Louis Vuitton Speedy? Will your swimsuit be scrunched in Coach’s leather holdall? Perhaps. But who cares? That’s exactly the kind of trip this is—which is exactly why you reached for the right bag for the job. So go ahead and get out there. It’s time to move along.

Those searching for signs of exactly what the current mood around getting dressed is need look no further than the recently announced reboot of the popular aughts series What Not to Wear; this time around, it’s going by the name Wear Whatever the F You Want. Which is only fitting. Fashion feels less prescriptive, more risky, and infinitely more fun than it did even a decade ago. Nowhere is this more apparent than on the red carpet—notably among stars who weren’t born yesterday.
Gone are the days of flattering-but-dull column dresses in neutral tones for women over 40; gone are the sexless pantsuits; gone, in many cases, are modest touches like sleeves. In their place are edgier, sexier looks featuring cutouts, dramatic beading, and look-at-me, body-skimming silhouettes.
