Just to be clear, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star and Emmy-nominated Hacksactress Kaitlin Olson didn’t write the “Tiny Boy, Little Boy” song from The Nightman Cometh, but she did live it.
Last night, Olson and her husband and co-star Rob McElhenney attended the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards, one week after Olson’s performance as the chaotic faildaughter DJ on Hacks was honored at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards but ultimately lost out in the category of Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series to Jamie Lee Curtis’ work on The Bear. Together, Olson and McElhenney presented the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, comedically riffing about the category with a touch of inappropriate humor after the orchestra welcomed them onstage with the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia theme song.

Blink-182 singer-bassist and co-founding member Mark Hoppus has announced Fahrenheit-182, his new memoir co-written with Sellout author Dan Ozzi. The book hits shelves on April 8, 2025 via Dey Street Books. In a cheeky infomercial-style video, Hoppus promises the memoir gets into skateboarding, ’90s music, and band breakups, as well as his diagnosis with cancer, which he’s since treated with chemotherapy.
“This is a story of what happens when an angst-ridden kid who grew up in the desert experiences his parents’ bitter divorce, moves around the country, switches identities from dork to goth to skate punk, and eventually meets his best friend who just so happens to be his musical soulmate,” reads a description for the book. “Threaded through with the very human story of a constant battle with anxiety and Mark’s public battle and triumph over cancer, Fahrenheit-182 is a delight for fans and also a funny, smart, and relatable memoir for anyone who has wanted to quit but kept going.”

Once you have Taylor Swift on your side, she’s on your side for good. The pop superstar returned back to the stadium for another season of cheering on her man, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Swift was pictured strutting into Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, for the Chiefs’ game against the Cincinnati Bengals while in full Chiefs gear. She repurposed a red oversize Chiefs tee to work instead as a loose minidress, and paired it, in true Swift fashion, with her go-to black leather thigh-high boots. The “So High School” singer carried a matching black crossbody bag and accessorized with layers of gold chains and rings, plus large hoop earrings. She wore her signature red lip and had her blonde hair down in messy waves.

Shogun Showdown sometimes breaks my brain. The new deckbuilding roguelike is all about tactics, and a key part of the game is that you can always see what the enemies plan to do next. Every once in a while, that gets me in a quandary where I know I’ll lose. But when things click into place and I clear everyone out in one fell swoop, I feel like a strategic genius.
In the game, which just left early access, you’re constantly trying to position your character across a small level to either attack your foes or dodge their moves. As you play, you can upgrade your “tiles” (think: cards) to improve their damage, add perks like freezing ice, or lower their cooldown so that you can use them more frequently.

Casa Bonita just might be the most famous restaurant on the planet right now, thanks to the South Park episode that made it look like a pink paradise on Earth, as well as the upcoming, critically acclaimed documentary, which chronicles Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s Kitchen Nightmares-esque efforts to restore the tragically shuttered Colorado institution.
The famed Mexican eatery re-opened its doors back in 2023, but it’s technically been in a “beta-testing” phase this whole time, meaning that those wanting to wolf down tacos while watching cliff divers had to try and score an invite via a lottery system, in which names were randomly selected from a lengthy waitlist. Kind of like scoring a golden ticket to Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, but without all of the child endangerment.

Hi, hello, the RuPaul's Drag Race cast has entered the chat to clear up some post-Emmys rumors. After Drag Race won the Emmy for Outstanding Reality Competition Series five years in a row (!), the fan-favorite show was beat out by Peacock's The Traitors at last night's ceremony. A correspondent for The Hollywood Reporter posted a clip of the Drag Race girls allegedly walking out during Alan Cumming's acceptance speech, leading fans to believe they left the show altogether.
But! The Drag Race cast had none 👏 of 👏 that 👏 as they took to social media and explained what really went down. "It was a commercial break and the girls wanted a drink," Plane Jane wrote in response. "We all stayed until the end of the ceremony. Take your pseudo journalism elsewhere." Amanda Tori Meating added, "It was a commercial break are we allowed to go piss girl."

To really nail an Emmy Awards monologue, you need one damn good joke. Thankfully, Schitt's Creek stars Eugene Levy and his son, Dan Levy, opened the show with an absolutely classy rib. "The Emmys, also know as broadcast TV’s biggest night for honoring movie stars on streaming services," Dan Levy joked. Elsewhere, the duo poked fun at audiences who consume television while "on your phone watching Sabrina Carpenter eat a hot wing." Easy.
But the Levys weren't the source of comedy at the Emmys this year. The Only Murders in the Building trio had a blast trading punchlines, while Slow Horses writer Will Smith (not the one you're thinking!) got a massive laugh from the celebrity crowd after joking that he "comes in peace." We also saw numerous quips about Vice Presidential nominee J.D. Vance's "childless cat lady" comments, Ebon Moss-Bacharach ( The Bear) and Taylor Zakhar Perez ( Red, White, & Royal Blue) shared an awkward drink at the fake on-stage bar, and the stars of Saturday Night Live! returned to incorrectly state that Lorne Michaels had never won an Emmy before.

Meryl and Martin kicked off dating speculation earlier this year due to a fleet of cute moments but have been steadfastly denying they are anything more than platonic pals. Back in January 2024, a rep for Martin told The Messenger (via Us Weekly), “They are just very good friends, nothing more.” Then a few weeks later, Martin himself said “We’re not a couple. I imagine that, the first time a vocal coach told Jaleel White that years of playing Steve Urkel on Family Matters had done serious damage to his vocal chords, his response would have been a question along the lines of, “Did I do that?” — if speaking wasn’t pure pain at the time.
White’s performance as the nosy, nasally and shit-stirring Urkel on Family Matters is best defined by the catchphrases and high-pitched tones that scored his rise from side character to series protagonist. White didn’t even appear on the show until the 12th episode of its first season, but as soon as audiences heard his heightened squealing and saw his eyes shifting mischievously from behind his comically oversized glasses, it became clear that one character on what was supposed to be an ensemble-led spin-off of Perfect Strangers was destined to outlive the rest of the series in terms of pop-culture relevance. Then, when Family Matters finally concluded in 1998, White found the character of Urkel hard to shake — both from a career perspective and physically.

Ever notice that there hasn’t been a live-action Dr. Seuss movie in more than 20 years? Sure, there are plenty of animated adaptations, but real actors making Seuss magic were officially forbidden by Audrey Geisel, the wife of the late Theodore, more popularly known as Dr. Seuss. The reason for the ban can be summed up in two words: Mike Myers.
The problem was 2003’s The Cat in the Hat, the critically reviled adaptation that starred Myers. He wasn’t the first choice for the role (a Tim Allen movie, believe it or not, was in the works), but once he signed on, the project took on his adolescent sense of humor, including the Cat shaking what his mama gave him in a coconut bra.

If Aubrey Plaza is in something, you best believe I'll be watching it, and her new movie My Old Ass is no exception. In it, 18-year-old Elliott and her two best friends decide to take a camping trip the summer after high school graduation (and right before Elliott leaves her small town and heads off to college in Toronto). And what do the girls bring with them to make their time around the campfire more exciting? Psychedelics, of course!
While tripping on mushrooms, Elliott comes face to face with her 39-year-old self (played by Plaza) who seems a touch more cynical about the world than she is at 18. Older Elliott offers some sage advice, like staying away from a boy named Chad (always a good rule), that young Elliott takes to heart. It's a funny, yet emotional, coming-of-age movie that you'll understandably want to watch ASAP. Which begs the question, when are we going to be able to stream it from the comfort of our homes? Well, here's everything we know on that front.

What’s next after the PS5 Pro? A report from Reuters focuses on Sony’s plans beyond this fall’s new $700 system, saying that the battle to win a contract for the chip powering a future PlayStation 6 came down to AMD vs. Intel, with others like Broadcom eliminated earlier, with AMD eventually winning out.
According to Reuters, since AMD makes the chip in the PS5 and PS5 Pro, maintaining backward compatibility in a possible move was part of “months” of discussions in 2022 between executives and engineers at Sony and Intel. However, Intel’s bid was blocked because they couldn’t agree on how much profit Intel would make from each chip it would design as Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC) handled the manufacturing process.

The next two years were a tornado for everyone involved: Makonnen’s rise went galactic after his buzzy club track “Tuesday” got a coveted Drake remix, earning him a deal with OVO. Father and Awful’s ascent also accelerated, taking them across the country and getting them in rooms with big labels. In late October, roughly months after the release of “Look at Wrist,” they performed it as a massive, shouting crew at FADER Fort in Brooklyn. Mary J. Blige played next.
As with most fast fame, though, theirs proved ephemeral. For Father and KEY!, the momentum simply stalled as the blogs moved on to the next hot discovery and years of nonstop partying took its toll. A short-lived Awful-RCA partnership fizzled after only two Father releases, the excellent 2018 LP Awful Swim and its follow-up EP, Hu$band.
