AI is changing the way we create, work, and learn. Many fear it could even change the way we think. And while much has been made of how AI could affect education, the arts, and business, the impact of artificial intelligence on philanthropy is more of a second thought.
AI's claim to free users from the tedium of work — what its makers consider "drudgery" — is a big selling point. In fact, it's a core tenant of many "AI for good" initiatives. Developers pitch AI as a tool for expediency, automation, and equity within the world of nonprofits, which usually operate with tight budgets and small staffs. And many philanthropic leaders see AI as a life-changing investment for nonprofits at large, especially small, community-oriented organizations just trying to survive.

Foldable phones aren’t exactly new on the market, but — as an iPhone user gradually being lured over to Android — I was pretty excited when I first heard about the Motorola Razr+. Previous editions of the Razr caught my attention when they were first announced, but lackluster reviews had me hesitating. Yes, I used (and loved) my Razr V3 back in high school, but a foldable phone in 2024? It seemed more like a gimmick than genuinely useful, but the updated Razr+ had me intrigued, so I decided to try it out for myself. Using a foldable phone for the first time is weird
Straight out of the box, the 2023 Motorola Razr+ was a bit bigger than I expected. It’s more elongated than other smartphones I’ve seen — it’s over an inch longer than my iPhone 11 Pro, despite being nearly identical in width — which makes it feel slightly awkward in the hand. It’s also longer than other foldable phones I’ve seen on the market, like the 5.67-inch Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, despite having similar widths and identical thicknesses.

How we tested Mashable staff subjected all of the laptops on this list to rigorous hands-on testing, which involved inspecting their build quality and using them for a variety of real-world tasks for several weeks at a time. This included working in different kinds of documents, checking emails, watching videos, taking photos on their webcams, participating in video calls, listening to music (via Spotify), playing games (if possible), and experimenting with any unique software features or use cases they claimed to support.
Additionally, all of the laptops featured here were made to run industry-standard benchmark software. We run these benchmarks because they replicate real-world tasks to produce scores we can use to easily compare different laptops' performance. We recently started implementing these benchmarks in our testing, and you can expect to see them in all of our new laptop reviews going forward.
